 The Foothill-Citrus Baseball Umpires Association (FCBUA) is organized and operated exclusively to foster national amateur
sports competition by:
- Promoting
the advancement of amateur baseball through the encouragement of
sportsmanship among and between institutions, players, coaches,
spectators, and officials.
- Increasing the
competency and proficiency of its members through the institution of an
educational and instructional program that includes, without
limitation, the free exchange of ideas, the mutual evaluation of rules
of baseball mechanics of baseball officiating, and the unbiased
performance rating of members in actual game situations.
- Assuring its members the opportunity to become qualified to officiate amateur baseball contests at any level.
